General Background.  Melissa A. Neckar has been actively engaged in the real estate profession since graduation from Texas A&M University at College Station in May 1984 with a Master Degree in Land Economics.  Real estate activity has included counseling, portfolio management and valuation/evaluation. 

 

Counseling assignments have involved a multitude of complex commercial real estate issues, including litigation support.  Portfolio management has included the analysis of investment returns and business plan preparation/presentation for major U. S. pension funds.  Valuation and evaluation assignments have included appraisal of land, investment-grade real estate and special-use property; partial interest valuation; highest and best use studies; market studies; rent studies; and feasibility studies.

Formal Education.  B.S. Economics in 1983 from Texas A&M University – College Station.

 

Master Degree Land Economics in 1984 from Texas A&M University – College Station.

 

Technical Education.  Melissa A. Neckar completed the core education required for the MAI designation, the general appraisal certification and a Texas salesperson license.  Continuing education is current for professional license, certification and MAI designation.

 

Professional Designation.  Ms. Neckar was awarded the MAI designation in 1995 from the Appraisal Institute.

 

Professional Licenses.  Ms. Neckar holds a Texas real estate salesperson license (0359912) and a general appraisal certification (1324551-G).
